All My Friends is a music festival, based in Los Angeles, that specializes in rap, electronic, and pop music. For this project, AMF’s branding was given a stylistic refresh relevant to the music genres it features and appropriate for the millennial demographic.
This companion app allows attendees to explore the lineup, listen to exclusive interviews, and traverse the festival area faster. Precautions for the pandemic were also included such as Postmates integration to reduce travel outside of the venue.

VISUAL RESEARCH ANALYSIS
Current App: At first glance of the current app, the menu was incredibly stylish, but that sense of style doesn’t translate well when you moved on to other screens. Furthermore, the Schedule and Eat, Drink & More features were difficult to navigate especially in grid view. Due to how old the app is, the other features, unfortunately, did not work.
Competitor 1: Developed by the same team who worked on the AMF app, the SunFest app has many of the same features and looks extremely similar to the AMF app making the apps feel standard and not unique enough to the festivals.
Competitor 2: Camp Flog Gnaw is another festival that takes place in Los Angeles and even specializes in the same genres as AMF. Unlike AMF, this app is much more tailored for its audience all the way throughout with an energetic design. However, some of the features are a bit hard to navigate.
After I conducted research, I was ready to define my main goals for the app:
1. Make app efficient and easy to use
2. Update festival identity
3. Ensure app remains energetic screen to screen
